The Best Men’s Colognes

Some men keep the same cologne for many years. Others change their scent according to their moods or occasion. It doesn’t matter if you’re looking for a new fragrance to wear on the big day, or for a gift. We mean it literally.

Celineroux Head of Global Fragrance, Jo Malone London was available to give us some tips and pointers on how to begin your search for the perfect signature scent. Roux says, “First of all, consider whether you want something bright and cheery or warm and woody. This will help guide your selection.” Roux says that while most people don’t like colognes with one ingredient, it is possible to find something completely new by trying different colognes. She suggests that you try different fragrances on each arm and let them settle on your skin. You will be naturally drawn to one of these scents if you observe how they develop. Although personal preference will always be the best, we took into account each scent’s longevity, freshness and overall value.

Chanel Bleu de Chanel

Bleu de Chanel is a long-lasting cologne that has all the qualities you desire in a perfume: freshness, longevity and quality. It is crisp, elegant, and elegant without reminding you of your grandpa. It is not too strong, but it has a woody cedar undertone and lingering grapefruit notes, making it an appealing, fresh-smelling choice. It is very strong so one spray can last for the whole day. However, you can still use it generously if needed.

Versace Eros

We aren’t sure what is cooler: The gorgeous Art Deco-style container or the addition mint to this tropical and fresh scent. This cologne is rich in orange, Italian lemon zest and green apple. It also contains amber, woody vanillas, vetiver and moss. This cologne can be sprayed a few times a day and it blends well with other colognes, making it a versatile choice for mixing and matching scents.

Giorgio Armani Acqua di Gio

This modern classic has been gracing men’s necks since 1996. To make it earthy, the combination of bergamot and neroli with rosemary and patchouli is a great choice. The scent isn’t as strong as some of the other options, so it’s a good option for people who are sensitive to certain smells. It’s also very durable.

Tom Ford Tuscan Leather

Tom Ford’s Tuscan Leather blends suede and leather with jasmine notes for a sophisticated and sensual scent. The addition of saffron adds warmth and sophistication. This cologne is very concentrated and lasts for hours. The brown bottle is shaped to resemble a chess board and we love it. This bottle will look great on the bathroom counter, or in a place where you can display any personal grooming products.

Dior Sauvage Elixir

Sauvage, a fresh, spicy scent that is the epitome modern classic, will grab everyone’s attention. The warm combination of cedar and amber, with lavender undertones and pepper, is unique and will be a favorite for many years. The scent is not overpowering and lasts a long time.

Maison Margiela Replica Jazz Club

Jazz Club is a whiskey-colored cologne that has been appropriately named. It smells like a dimly lit jazz bar brimming with cigar smoke and decorated in leather chairs. It is spicy and warm with notes of pink pepper and rum as well as tobacco. It can be worn as an unisex cologne and will get many compliments. It isn’t as long-lasting than other options, but it comes in a handy travel size so you can take it with you wherever you go.

Jo Malone Oud & Bergamot Cologne Intense

This cologne is all about juxtaposition. The fragrance is clean and masculine, with citrus notes of Amalfi lime and orange. This balanced blend is great for anyone who wants to play with oud. You can layer it with lighter scents to customize it. It doesn’t matter if you wear it alone or mixed with other scents, it will last long on your skin. This is a great scent for taking you from work to the bar.
