Deep Conditioning Benefits Of Castor Oil For Natural Beauty
Castor oil dates back to biblical times, and has been used to soften healthy skin and hair. Castor Oil is considered by many to be one of the finest natural beauty skin softeners available today. Castor oil can penetrate the skin and help stimulate the production of collagen and elastin making it the perfect treatment for stubborn wrinkles. Castor Oil also has been proven effective for sunburn, abrasions, acne, dry skin, boils, warts, stretch marks, age spots, athletes foot and chronic itching and inflamed skin.
Pure Castor Oil is pressed from the seed of Ricinus Communis and is virtually odorless and tasteless, which makes it perfect for the skin or the hair. Castor Oil isn’t just an external treatment but also has been used internally for thousands of years due to its many wonderful health benefits including strengthening the immune system. The primary constituents of castor oil are oleic acid, linoleic acid and ricinoleic acid. Ricinoleic acid is famous for its ability to suppress bacterial, viral and fungal infections. Organic castor oil ALONE can aid so many conditions, it is no wonder that it is a well-kept secret and used in a wide variety of today’s cosmetic and beauty formulas.
Castor Oil has been known to strengthen the immune system, but it has also been proven to be effective with Arthritis pain, Cerebral palsy, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s Disease , Hair Loss and and is also used for labor induction. In Addition, it has been known to help with Menstrual Pain, Ringworm, Skin Abrasions, Acne, Migraines, Yeast Infections, Sunburn, Athlete’s Foot, and Constipation. Castor oil can be a very effective laxative. The ingredients in castor oil stimulate the colon walls which help in the movement of fecal matter through the bowel. Dosage largely depends on the age and the reactions to the treatment. If you are taking it for the first or only for one time, some advise that it should be taken before bed. Like any other product, your body could become dependant on castor oil over the long period if used as an laxative.
By Sedentary lifestyle- Now Solutions Castor Oil, 100 % Pure, 16 ounce- Hoping to try something different around the kitchen I used this in place of olive oil for a salad dressing and also in a small dish for dunking Italian bread. BIG MISTAKE! The guests that actually made it out the door without soiling themselves just wound up doing it in their cars on their way home. Needless to say they probably won’t be back for next week’s chicken “surprise”…
By Elizabeth Holly – Castor Oil Liquid 32 Ounces I use it for castor oil packs (flannel soaked in the oil and placed on the body with a towel and dry heat applied) for the rejuvenative effects. I also use it on small moles, ingrown hairs, and for intensive moisturizing on elbows and heels. Heritage brand is really great because they have gone out of their way to certify that it is hexane free, the next best thing to organic!

By Belanita – Now Solutions Castor Oil, 100 % Pure, 16 ounce I use this product on my hair, and sometimes my skin. It is heavy, but I like it that way. It has no smell, and that is good. I gave a bottle to my parents, they use a lot as well. We go through this product rather quickly, most bottles are sold small. This company sells in 16oz, which is great, it will last longer.
By anonymous – Now Solutions Castor Oil, 100 % Pure, 16 ounce -So i decided to purchase this product after i saw all of the great reviews it had for use on hair and i am so happy i did!!!!!! This PRODUCT IS AMAZING. I am of Caribbean American descent so i wanted something that would be a great moisturizer and could help my hair grow and this did the trick. 6 months ago i started using this and my hair was about just below my shoulders. Now my hair reaches half way down my back!!!! This is the only new product I have tried!!!! I am really happy with this and i recommend this to anyone who is looking for a good moisturizer!!!!
By Melissa – Now Solutions Castor Oil, 100 % Pure, 16 ounce- I was using this castor oil as hair growth aid. I don’t know if it helps with growing my hair, but my hair is healthy and people always touch it and ask if it is real when I wear my hair out. First of all this castor oil has no smell, which is great. It leaves my hair moisturized compared to Jamaican black castor oil (lavender). I heard a lot of good stuff about the Jamaican black castor oil and decided to buy it. I hate the smell of the Jamaican black castor oil (lavender) it makes my hair stink. I have to overload my hair with sweet smelling leave-in creams & lotion to combat the smell. I don’t like that distinct burnt smell. I’m currently using it on my scalp because I don’t want to waste it. I can’t wait to finish my two 8oz bottles. As soon as my other castor oil is done I will only use the Now foods castor oil. I think it is better because you can use it on your skin, smells better for the hair, and bath water. I guess me switching to the Jamaican black castor oil makes me know how much I love this brand better.
