Five Trials, Five Reviews: Under Eye Correctors

Well, my quest for a way to hide or diminish those hereditary dark circles under my eyes will never get old. I have got to the point of acceptance; there is probably nothing I can do to get rid of them but I can at the very least find products to help me conceal them. I have been using correctors for quite some time now and have seen that recently, there have been more coming out on the market. They are under eye luggage banishers, but only if you get the right one with the right formulation. I have put some from a variety of price points to the test so thought I would report back. As a disclaimer, I will say that I have dark (almost brown/dark purple toned) under eye luggage.

Dealing With and Overcoming Hair Loss

At the beginning of this year, I had a little bit of a meltdown when it came to my hair. I had had long hair for as long as I could remember, under the hijab obviously, but it was in pretty rubbish condition. The word 'shedding' was no longer appropriate and I started coming to terms with the fact that I was losing hair. Hair loss is something that affects so many people yet it is almost not spoken about. I cover my hair but nonetheless it is a confidence killer to know that your widows peak hairline is now looking like it is receding. Hair loss is so common and is often cities as something women are very self conscious about. This post will outline to you a sixth month journey to healthy hair and tell you about the products which saved my mane.

Not Worth The Blogger Hype: Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Gel

If there is one product which continuously adorns the bathroom cabinets of bloggers in their morning  or evening skincare routine videos, it is the Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Gel (£29.50). It is literally everywhere you look with people telling you how it is amazing at cleaning their skin, ending their day with a nice smooth makeup removal via posh cleanser. It was on my 'to buy' list for quite some time so when I finally got it I was excited to see what the hype was. Yes, I will put it out there- it does look amazingly chic in marbled bathrooms and does promise to leave your skin feeling amazing post use. But I don't have a marbled bathroom and I was sadly left a little disappointed with the cleaner too.

For The Eczema, Psoriasis or Acne Sufferers Looking For Hope...

When I decided I would get back to blogging, I knew automatically what my first proper post would be. It is a good old skincare post but one that is not like any other. Before I went on my self imposed hiatus, I posted about my Night Time Nourishment skincare and talked about the Sönd Skincare Revitalising Face Serum. I promised then that I would do a proper post about the range which has changed my skin. Sönd Skincare is a system of skincare designed for the most sensitive of skins and is based around the use of Silica. I have tried the whole range myself and also gave a set to my friend Gemma who suffers from eczema. We've both given it some time to see if it works and this post has been a long time in the making. Hands up if you suffer from eczema, psoriasis, sensitive, acne prone or generally rubbish skin? Now keep reading (it is a long but life changing)...
